WE SERVE THE INLAND EMPIRE AND HIGH DESERT COMMUNITIES
Perinatal & Postpartum Education
Whether a woman delivers her first baby or third, perinatal information changes & is easily forgotten after leaving the hospital. Everyone has a unique way of learning, and we want to provide a safe space for clients to ask more questions without feeling rushed or ashamed. If you'd like individualized education, our team is available to provide 1:1 or group classes as needed.
Maternal & Baby Essentials Access
Sometimes it's hard to make ends meet, no matter the socioeconomic status. Clients in need of essentials for themselves or their babies may request items with virtual currency earned through completion of our training modules or support sessions. We'll even help look for items that are not in our Purpose Boutique!
Our mission of perinatal equity for BIPOC women requires increased emphasis on the social determinants that impact maternal and infant health outcomes. If a client is struggling with recent perinatal changes or external factors outside of her control, we want to connect clients with someone that can listen to provide relational support without judgement. It's okay to not be okay sometimes, and our clients have a safe space to talk about it.
Continuity of care is important for achieving optimal pregnancy & postpartum outcomes. Primary care providers, midwives, or obstetricians may not be aware of external social risks that may impact your experience. Our clients may be referred to community-based programs that can support their immediate needs.
